@exkclamation I don't have them anymore, but I previously had a stereo pair of Ones.
I can't compare them to the new HomePods, but the old HomePods blew them away. The Ones are probably better than the HomePod Mini, but they're also twice the price and size.
I find the One to be a very overrated product in terms of audio quality.

Ken@marcoarment Dunno if you’d find it relevant, but I tried our two new HomePods as a potential replacement for our “home theater” setup. I’m doing a write up on my smart home setup for some friends and included a mini-review of my experiment:
> We did a bake-off to consider replacing our $220 Visio sound bar (our "home theater" setup combined with a 55” TCL TV in the basement) with a $600 pair of HomePods. The sound bar was anemic for music compared to the HomePods, but won out on richer movie sound — my guess is HomePod is simply passing through TV and movie audio but algorithmically enhancing music, an advertised feature.

@Bryson I had two Echoes, but they're so shittily built that the second one died after three months. The Dots sound so awful that they're not really worthy of consideration — they're basically e-waste.
