@marcoarment Dunno if you’d find it relevant, but I tried our two new HomePods as a potential replacement for our “home theater” setup. I’m doing a write up on my smart home setup for some friends and included a mini-review of my experiment:

> We did a bake-off to consider replacing our $220 Visio sound bar (our "home theater" setup combined with a 55” TCL TV in the basement) with a $600 pair of HomePods. The sound bar was anemic for music compared to the HomePods, but won out on richer movie sound — my guess is HomePod is simply passing through TV and movie audio but algorithmically enhancing music, an advertised feature.
