Anyone who thinks all Canadians are friendly has clearly never met any of their geese.
@Alice
I just assumed the geese had forced the Canadians into submission.
@Alice @the_etrain The geese are Canadians’ first-strike capability
@Alice
I have met their geese and I can vouch.

@Alice

a photo i made some time ago...

@Alice Geese are not the problem where I am, that's turkey vultures.
Just saw a field full of them today, I lost count at 26 eating πŸͺ± on warm sunny day of 38Β°F
Also seen 12 πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ geese by the river and didn't feel threatened one bit.
@Alice Canadians are able to maintain this perceived friendly nature only due to the longstanding mythical relationship we have with Canada Geese.
The geese are somehow able to absorb Canadian's pent up anger, then fly south to release it... Returning north just in time to begin the anger transfer process once again.
Nature, it's a beautiful thing.
@dabertime I would watch this naturmentary.
@dabertime @Alice it's true. Some Canadian geese end up at Philip Island, Australia, where they strut across the racetrack and try take on racecars. I've had one chase my car across the grass there!
@dabertime @Alice We also play a game with blades strapped to our feet and playing instruments that double as clubs to bludgeon each other with. Frequently we also engage in bare knuckle boxing while playing said game. This also releases anxiety when the goose anger transference is not enough.
@Alice my father used to run around our backyard chasing them away…lolol….
@Alice @donmelton They do apologise after they peck you.
@Alice Or the leaders of the Conservative Party.
@Alice
……… they do apologize after chasing Though
@Alice They get a bad rap. Once you get past the hissing and flapping they delightful company. That’s my bench, and my entourage😊
@Alice to be fair, if you lived outside and it was -30C you’d be pretty pissed too.
@Alice all Canadian geese are scheming thieves and bandits. There isn’t a single honest geese in that land.
@Alice Dont mess with our cobra chickens. They are very loyal and protective of themselves and other Canadians.
@Alice
All the geese bear the anger and hatred of all Canadian humans, which is why they're so nice.
@Alice I was a delivery driver at a Chinese restaurant for a year and every day I worked I fed almond cookies to the flock of geese that lived next to the strip mall and it never made them like me even a little bit more
@jordan such unappreciative jerks!
@Alice I had no idea Canadian geese are worse than the ones here in the U.S. As someone who grew up on a lake and had to walk past - or sometimes through (gulp) -
a big gaggle of geese to get to the bus stop each day… just NO. They have teeth! 😩#geese
@Alice love antagonizing the geese and their wee shite makers at the pond whilst on walks. Never had one attack, probably because they can make it into the water before I can cut them off.
@Alice i once applied for a summer job banding birds, and one of the job requirements was "not afraid of geese"... πŸ˜† 🀣
@acm_redfox so you lied on the application, right? Because everybody should be afraid of those little jerks.
@Alice It was a teen internship, and I think I was too young. ☹️
@Alice When I worked at #CIA the real power there wasn't the Director or the Directorate of Operations or the Office of Security. It was the Canadian geese who would take over the grounds at certain times of year.
Hi, @GottaLaff, what does #Hammy think⁉️ @Alice
@Penny_G Hammy loves the geese, and so far, they haven’t attacked when he chases them, lol. @Alice
@GottaLaff @Alice That sweet #Hammy … who wouldn’t love him⁉️ πŸ₯°

@Alice They’re called Canada Geese.

And some batteries are called Harbulary batteries

@Alice Have not met one but Youtube was my education: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMdhAFPWzFw
Man vs. Canada Goose (ORIGINAL)

YouTube

@Alice

Cobra chickens, man. They will get you.

@Alice
but they have a good reason!
imagine how angry you'd be if they made jackets out of you lol
@Alice I sort of assumed that all the horrible geese we see in the US are the ones that Canada exiled
@Alice I am a Canada goose and I approve this message.
@Alice Or attended one of their hockey games …
@Alice I have never had issues with them, aside from slipping in their poop, but I kind of cheer them on when they're being tormented by a heedless child and they've had enough. Not to get metaphorical.
