Let's talk about the #OpenSource software you're happy to *pay* for.

A one time "pay what you want" payment counts (such as for @thunderbird or @elementary). Recurring donations count too (Paypal/Patreon), and so do things like buying a "Pro" version.

MY ANSWER: Two terrific apps spring to mind which I've continued to use constantly.
1) Standard Notes
2) Aptik (#Linux backup software).

@killyourfm @thunderbird @elementary Haven't used those two but I'm always happy to pay for a good product, open source or not. Heck I've even paid a little bit to my nice Fediverse admin.

It's nice when you're not the thing being sold 🤷‍♂️

@OtherRetroMatt I'll drink to that! I also donated $8 my instance admin, and I should just keep doing that every month.
