#RetroGamer, #AtariST, #Amiga, #ZXSpectrum, #PCGamer, Handhelds and #Arcade nerd. Tech pro since '94.

Dungeon Master's biggest fan.

How many people called Matt are into old technology? ..I'm one of the other ones.

And there she is, the rather lovely Memotech MTX512 - a metal computer. Can’t wait to test it #Retroacomputing

Went to Barcadia in Norwich with Babs. Unlike NQ64 ( as an example) the machines are very well maintained and it's clearly the focus of the venue.

You can tell that @Ashens and @nostalgianerd have had a hand in the setup.

Not gimmicky, lovely staff, very highly recommended.

Can't get rid of these Tories soon enough IMO. Shame Starmer won't get off his "gotta make Brexit work" bullshit.

*Fuck* Brexit. Everyone can see it's failed. Bin it and move on FFS. 🐂

This is nothing new. Every single bike I've ever owned has been stolen.

That's 5 bikes since the late 80s through to the end of the 90s, most from a locked shed too.

I find the cycle initiatives a joke - I'm not buying something just to see it stolen within weeks, it's not a viable form of transport in London unless police actually start doing something about theft

Life in bike theft Britain: ‘Afterwards, I couldn’t face going outside’

It is a crime that can leave victims financially and emotionally crushed - yet is very rarely solved by police. Is anything being done to stop it?

I think I'm FINALLY starting to recreate the experience I used to really enjoy with Twitter before I quit it a year ago. I just have to do it over 4 different apps with different groups of people with some overlap with some good folk still missing.

I hate obnoxious thin-skinned billionaires.

X is dead. Just wondering what to put here instead 🤔

Am friends with Drew and Carl from #footboard (the board game) and they've amazingly given me Number 23 off the production line. So we've ruined it's potential future value by opening it immediately and playing it, as intended.

It's all made of sustainable materials, every counter and the dice are wooden and it's great to play.

Recommended.

More Suffolk culture, this time at the rather impressive pad Melford Hall.

As stately homes go it's solid but I was obviously most taken by the lovely #CRT in Lady Ulla's private rooms 😁

Culture tour of Suffolk continues with Sudbury Gallery and Gainsborough House, the birthplace and home of Thomas Gainsborough.

To the uninitiated Gainsborough was the 1700s version of Midjourney AI for landscapes and portraits but it took him weeks to do what AI can now do a poor approximation of in just 30s 😜

Has quite a lot more going on in terms of other artists, including modern installations.

Popped into Lavenham which is Britain's best maintained mediaeval village. It's very twee but impressive
