The Narrative Designer works closely with a project’s core design team at every step to develop a strong symbiotic relationship between the game’s mechanics, design, and structure and the narrative used to support and enhance those elements. Working fully remotely alongside the Narrative Director and a global team of dedicated, friendly and talented writers, you will: * Contribute creatively to multiple projects developed in studios around the world (majority in CET and ET time zones) * Collaborate with development teams to brainstorm creative ways to encapsulate a game’s core mechanics through story and narrative * Work on licensed properties, coordinating with teams and licensors to ensure brand consistency and presentation that reflects the licensors’ needs * Help establish the tone of the game world and propose creative and efficient ways to effectively present this world to the player * Generate and maintain design documents for all narrative elements * Identify narrative problems and brainstorm creative solutions with colleagues * Write all dialogues and in game texts * Collaborate with cinematic and sound teams to create and maintain consistent narrative execution * Assist in generating detailed voice over scripts and gathering needed materials for the sound team * Participate in our writers rooms where you will give and take feedback respectfully * Take on other fun narrative centric tasks as required from the wider Gameloft community Qualifications: Qualifications : * Licence (ou autodidacte passionné) en anglais, en écriture créative, en théâtre ou en cinéma et/ou expérience professionnelle en tant que rédacteur dans l'industrie du jeu vidéo ou dans un autre média dramatique. * Un sens aigu de la rédaction et une capacité à élaborer des dialogues clairs et précis. * Capacité à concevoir des histoires claires et cohérentes pour divers publics grâce à d'excellentes compétences en matière de communication écrite et verbale. * Compréhension de la théorie visuelle, de la narration, de l'intrigue, de la structure et des personnages. * Connaissance et passion pour l'histoire et les théories régissant la narration interactive, y compris la façon dont l'histoire est utilisée pour soutenir les mécanismes du jeu et améliorer la rétention des joueurs. * Passionné par les jeux, avec une connaissance approfondie des jeux et des principes fondamentaux de leur conception, de la culture des jeux et de l'industrie du divertissement dans son ensemble. * Maîtrise de la langue anglaise * Capacité à présenter un concept narratif et une conception clairs à l'aide d'Excel, PPT, Miro ou d'autres outils connexes. * Solides compétences en matière de recherche, d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes, et conscience de la manière de s'accommoder des limites et de travailler de manière flexible avec les ressources disponibles. * Un sens aigu du détail.
