Yes! Exactly right.
@godpod And they're nothing to Dr Who.
“Nobody important? Blimey, that’s amazing. You know, nine hundred years of time and space and I’ve never met anybody who wasn’t important before.”
You can't get any more woke than that.
weird wacky stuff, but honestly I was not into Star Trek that much never really liked Pink Floyd, though I did like some of their songs. We don't need no education (sounds like QAnon & trumpers). But, Star Wars, oh yeah. carry on.
okay, got it....carry on. I'm just not a Pink Floyd fan.....thanks.
@BillMcGuire The We Don’t Need No Education song was about abusive authoritarian teachers who inflict emotional and physical damage on their students and says it’s certain teachers. It wasn’t against education in general. The Wall was Roger Waters’ personal experiences growing up after WWII and becoming an alienated rock star.
Plus, that was the worst of their popular albums after they ran out of better things to sing about. All their albums are best listened to entirely, not as singles.
hmmm, yes, I like some of their songs.....I only mentioned the lyrics of one, not that I necessarily liked the song. They are WAY down my list of groups I like. thanks. carry on
@godpod
“The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in our lives. We work to better ourselves and the rest of humanity.”
― Capt. Jean-Luc Picard
Communists!!!
@HikerGeek @godpod communists are still acquiring wealth.
Wealth is antiquated in Star Trek because they elevated society well beyond the means of production.
I am whining about Star Wars becoming crap & I readily admit that I was never a fan. Altough it has some good stories, I think it has always been grossly over rated. Now it's just shit.
Star Trek has always bee Woke AF so I don't understand how it can go woke.
