App Store
@feditips @icecubesapp will this be available for Android anytime soon?
@AdnilRhomx @feditips @[email protected] Given that the app is written in SwiftUI, I wouldn’t count on it.

@feditips

I know #Ivory is getting a lot of traction, but as a consumer of multiple Android Mastodon apps, I think it's important to let those in the Walled Garden know they have more options.
@icecubesapp

@7thDayHeathen @feditips @[email protected] Also, if *we* want more people using Mastodon, I’m afraid Ivory is not the best option for people just trying out Mastodon for the first time, since the paywall might drive them away.

@7thDayHeathen @feditips @icecubesapp

Have been using Tweetbot before so ivory just is easy to switch to.
But I’m checking out ice cubes at them Moment as well.
Also like it a lot. The custom theme changes don’t persists, but I hope this will be fixed in the future.

@feditips @icecubesapp It’s a beautiful app, and a wonderful alternative to the subscription model.
@feditips it’s such a great app! I just wish it had a bit more modern app icons.
@feditips @icecubesapp I’m liking it! In fact I am using it to read this thread and write this toot!😊
@feditips @[email protected] normally ordering without ice, but here I can’t get enaugh
@feditips @icecubesapp It also runs fine on Apple Silicon Macs, a bit stuttering when resizing the window if scrolled down, but otherwise it works like a charm. Best mastodon client for macOS to date, even if it is not officially verified on the App Store to work.
@feditips @icecubesapp it works wonderful and looks great
@feditips @icecubesapp just swapped over, seems super slick and nice so far, i like that CWd posts are shrunk down to just the size of the CW rather than having screens of empty space
@[email protected] @feditips One great onboarding idea is showing a federated feed right at the start, so people can get an idea of how mastodon works before signing up. Other app devs should take note.
@feditips @[email protected]
It's a great app, but just a note to those popping in the thread: though the app is free, please consider giving the dev some money via settings every now and then — writing and maintaining the app is a lot of work and the dev deserves some financial acknowledgment from those who appreciate it.
@feditips @icecubesapp been running this also after @gruber covered the unjustified grief it got in the Apple App store. Great app!
@feditips I am a big fan of @[email protected] using it the last few days and it’s an overwhelmingly positive experience
@feditips @icecubesapp Better than normal mastodon app? How?
@icecubesapp @feditips how does it compares to metatext?
@feditips @icecubesapp Thanks for this tip! I decided to try it and I am loving it so far!
@feditips @icecubesapp @geekosupremo I like being able to follow local timelines on other instances with Ice Cubes
@feditips @icecubesapp oh, after some initial logging-in problems I’ve switched straight over to this! As a visual person who does his scrolling on a big iPad, just being able to fine-tune the colours and darkness makes this app perfect, even before I noticed the speed.
@feditips @icecubesapp This is at least the 4th app I’ve tried, and finally found one I really enjoy! I’m still finding my way around the features so far. Love that I can separately follow the local instance for my city, while my account is on an interest-based instance. Whole thing is clean, functions well, and is a pleasure to use!
