I was filing a bug about collision detection not working well when I suddenly got viciously attacked.
I rewrote my website again lol
@Em0nM4stodon pushed me to rethinking using JS for anything on my personal page, so I gave myself some design constraints:
- a single HTML page
- no JavaScript
- push what can be done visually and interactively, without too much hackery
I think it's pretty awesome what CSS allows you to do now.
Added some chill music by John Oestmann on this new anchoring demo for mr.js

The guy has his music sources on GitHub and it's really cool!

Very few people know this story. I posted it on Twitter a lifetime ago, but I felt like sharing it again here for posterity.
This is the origin story of why avatars are round basically everywhere now.
In 2010, I was working on Lion (OS X 10.7), on 2 particular features: AirDrop and the refreshed Login screen. I had been exploring every possible layout, textures, colors for the UI.

Alright, so it seems like @Michael and I are official starting something together.
In a nutshell, we are building an environment to design and code mixed-reality (MR) experiences directly in headset, on the web.
Mixed-reality, spatial computing, βthe metaverseβ (π€’); regardless the name, Apple and Meta are coming in hot with new hardware, new app stores, and not-new 30% taxes.
But what about the web? How do we create a thriving ecosystem of apps for those devices?
