I mostly don’t know about anything, but I’m good at pretending I do.

I built CirculaChido

It’s crazy how much tracking platforms like Threads do. I’ve been using it somewhat regularly over the past few weeks, and the For You section ends up being the same thing over and over; completely devoid of variety, very echo-chambery.

If I linger on a random post for more than a few seconds, the next time I open Threads it’s suddenly filled with content about that exact topic over and over.

I just released my first iOS app! 🎉

It’s called CirculaChido — made for drivers in Mexico City’s metro area. It keeps you updated on when your car can be on the road, plus reminders about other important requirements so you’re always covered.

I know there isn't a huge Mastodon community in Mexico, but still wanted to share the milestone withe everyone here.

Proud to finally ship this one!

Boosts are really appreciated!

It’s kinda crazy how, before the Apple event, everyone* was like, “Why do we need a thinner phone? We want more battery and no camera bump.”

Yet today, everyone’s raving about how awesome and futuristic the iPhone Air feels.

*I know it’s probably a different subset of the internet—I’m just curious how the public discourse shifted.

@christianselig Hi Christian, I recently found out that there's a very active community of people installing Apollo via alternative methods, and there's even a patch to support LiquidGlass. I was curious to know if you have any opinion on these efforts?
I know everybody has been asking for colorful iPhone Pro models, but I’ve always been a sucker for the “black” one. #AppleEvent
@simonbs Hi there Simon! Something tells me you may know this one. Do you??

iOS Dev question: Apple Invites and Apple Sports uses a navigation that's different than a regular SwiftUI TabView, how are those called?

I'd like to read documentation on those implementations, but I don't know where to look.

Also, is there any iPad app out there that implements that? Invites and Sports don't have iPad versions, so I don't know how that looks on iPadOS.

Appreciate any help pointing me in the right direction.

So much for Claude’s integration with Xcode. Apple seems to be all-in on ChatGPT integration. #WWDC25
They brought back the Parallax effect! #AppleEvent

It sucks to see people switching to Bluesky.

I acknowledge that they’ll go wherever they believe they can connect best with their followers, but I can't help feeling betrayed — as if we were in this quest together to make the Fediverse THE default social media space, and they just left.

I know they don’t owe me anything, and I truly understand that everyone has their reasons for choosing one platform over another, but still.
