Since I've been asked a million times, Ivory Mac will be coming. We have a list of tasks that @todd has been making great progress on and I’ve been mostly too busy to deal with.

We’ll hopefully start letting it spreads its wing (oh crap, wrong network) sometime in Feb. Starting with Alpha -> Beta -> ...

Pricing wise our goals are always to make things affordable and long term sustainable, no set plans on our end but I'm sure we'll do something that'll work out.

My personal plan for the rest of the week, into next. Bug fixing. Best way to report those is In App Settings -> Support -> Contact Us.

Once I get tired of bugs we'll go back to more new stuff. Might do some more "which feature” polls, I think people generally liked that? Well at least I liked it.

@paul anything I can do to help you nail down duplicate notifications? Seems like more than an instance issue as I’m getting two different styles of notifications in some instances (one as a “conversation” notification and one as a normal for the same action, like a favorite). Seems like I have multiple active tokens registered in the database or something?

(Also happy to send an email if that’s better)

@paul I would like to suggest two features for Ivory. One is an integrated translation, like the native app for mastodon and ice cube (I believe it is important at the moment because of a very large consumption of fonts from different languages). The second feature is a translation of the Ivory app (I saw the toot app, doing a collaborative translation of the app, I believe it would work with Ivory). I am willing to exchange ideas and help.

@paul i sent an email with some feedback and it got auto responded to because it was during the whole tweetbot situation. should i bump it ?

@april honestly, yes, I tried to read all those but we ended up with > 10k email/tweets/etc.. and at some point I just had to declare bankruptcy.

@paul unfortunately this doesn’t work if you don’t have the mail app installed/setup (i use gmail) can it also show an email address? Maybe copy a template to the clipboard?

@vac it should fallback to opening a mailto: URL, but its possible Apple has changed something since the last time I tested no Mail.app installed.
