#Ivory - "Losin' Hold" (Tetragrammaton Records, 1968)

Ivory was a short-lived late 60s LA psych/pop group whose overlooked album is in a lighter #JeffersonAirplane vein (psych collectors note: the comparison to SF's Neighb'rhood Childr'n is totally appropriate). Chris Christman was their female singer, and a beautifully bold one was she. The only member to stay in the music biz once they broke up, she released an equally-forgotten solo LP on Capricorn Records in 1975. But her first band did deserve better.

Mon app Mastodon, c’est @ivory, qui a des qualités et des défauts, mais que j’aime bien. Il y avait un gros manque : pas de liseuse de son ! Je devais passer par le web. Et je découvre que les auteurs du logiciel y ont remédié. C’est même mignon comme tout, ce qu’ils ont fait.

Nachdem mein Abo bei #Ivory ausgelaufen ist, bin ich nun mit #Mona unterwegs. Ich wollte zwar die #IceCubesApp weiter nutzen, aber sie lief noch nicht so richtig rund. Deswegen versuche ich jetzt mein Glück mit dieser Alternative.
