@atpfm #askatp Is it bad for the iPhone 15 Pro OLED display to be on all night in "standby"-mode, as a night table clock? Especially if you disable the "Turn display off automatically" setting? At night, the iPhone does dim and display a red light which is "kinder" to the OLED, but will it still get burn-in if it's on all night, every night, for the foreseeable future? I assume Apple wouldn't include an "always-on"-setting if it was harmful to the display? Or would they?

Bought Xreal One AR sunglasses. Basically a virtual oled screen strapped to your face, but I quite like the experience so far. Might have to try out coding with them and the steamdeck too. They can present to a laptop as a ultra wide screen which seems nice.

I've been using @bjango 's iStat Menus app (https://bjango.com/mac/istatmenus/) on my macs 15 years. I was perfectly happy to pay the not-princely sum of $10 for the latest update, especially since the last time I paid any money was in Jan 2020. That's about $2.11 / year. Also nice is that the license upgrade price has stayed the same since at least 2014.

There's a lot I don't love about the software industry at the moment, but Bjango is a diamond in the rough.
