Motion to start measuring the size of everything in dogs. We can call it the Petric system.
@OhNoSheTwitnt last year, weren't they measuring asteroids in 🦒 giraffes? Who knew astronomers had such senses of humor, locked away in their telescope towers all night??
@OhNoSheTwitnt Not very useful for measuring potentially cat-astrophic events, imho
@OhNoSheTwitnt what happened to last weeks asteroid measuring unit? The Penguin
@OhNoSheTwitnt I'm sure there are many different pets we could use in this system. Octopi for volume, for example. And as @kurtpankau suggests, there are a variety of uses for cats as units of measurement in the Petric system.
@OhNoSheTwitnt anything but the metric system I see!💋🍷😷💅
@OhNoSheTwitnt
“How close will they pass?”
“About 200,000 Great Danes.”
“How accurate is that estimate?”
“RUFF.”
@OhNoSheTwitnt You're probably American, so I guess you'd use "pups" and leave the petric system to us Euros 🦮
@OhNoSheTwitnt
I had a kid inquire if school was going to be closed that day. As if the end of the world e would stop us from handing out homework!
Earth Tuesday? Is that something like Sheffield Wednesday?
@OhNoSheTwitnt I second the motion for a Petric system! 😂
@OhNoSheTwitnt @donmelton I thought asteroids were measured in giraffes? Or was it Llamas?
@OhNoSheTwitnt @donmelton Giraffes, it was giraffes. No idea why I was thinking of llamas.
@OhNoSheTwitnt but what dog will be the “dog standard?”I mean there’s a lot of difference between say a Great Pyranees and a Chihuahua…will different cultures choose their favorite dogs? US chooses a lab, Japan chooses a Shiba Inu… This could get very messy and complicated.
@OhNoSheTwitnt I’m personally more comfortable with measuring by giraffe or penguin. Much more standard sizes…
@johnettesnuggs @OhNoSheTwitnt We need to standardize the muttric system
@OhNoSheTwitnt Weep for the people of history who worked so hard to make humanity smarter. Their efforts were in vain.
@OhNoSheTwitnt 100 pugs? That’s about the size of 10 Great Danes, or an old VW Beetle.
@OhNoSheTwitnt @GossiTheDog That would still be less arbitrary and incomprehensible than the Imperial System of Measures so you know what I'm rooting for this
