So I’m finally getting a chance to read through all the email you folks have sent and I’m literally sitting here crying from all the love and kind words coming our way. It’s humbling to know our work has touched so many people for the better. Letters of thanks for Twitterrific’s accessibility, it’s ease of use and much more. I wish I could hug all of you for what you’ve done for all of us today. We love you so much. 🥰👍🖖
@gedeonm @chockenberry I’ve been on twitter since 2008. Used Twitterrific many years on both iOS and macOS. The banning of 3rd party twitter apps will force many blind people to leave. Thank you for the attention you gave to accessibility.
@kevinrj @chockenberry Kevin thx for sending this. I really do not know what to say except I’m sorry. I’m sorry Elon doesn’t care that he’s making Twitter less accessible and I’m sorry we can’t serve you on Twitter any longer. Thx for your kind words however, we appreciate it.
@gedeonm Actually, thank you from a blind, now-former #Twitterrific customer. Your dedication to #accessibility was amazing and it meant that for the first time, we could interact and network with our sighted peers as efficiently as they could. Basically before accessible access to #twitter, our online socialization was primarily conducted in isolated communities of the blind.
@Mohaneds I have no words, and I’m sorry. Thank you for this.
@gedeonm I absolutely loved Twitterrific. It was an amazing app that made Twitter a much better experience. It will be deeply missed.
@gedeonm I signed up with the bird site years ago but never really “got” it. Using the official client was not conducive to a good experience and I just forgot about it after a while. A year (or more) ago @gruber mentioned Twitterrific Ina post and something about it made me give it a shot. The basic service remained unchanged but Twitterrific made it less painful 😅 looking forward to your future endeavours!
@Mogleg @gruber Oh that warms my heart. Thanks for reaching out with that, truly. 💕
@gedeonm you guys deserve all the love and praise - twitterific was innovative, creative and cute~! Our Ollies still have a dedicated space on our desks! ❤️
@kyubikitsy Wow that’s so cute! Thanks also for your kind words, it means so much esp coming from you, Audra. 🥰
@gedeonm Twitterrific was my first Twitter app before Twitter had their own. I'm crushed to see it go. I'll be trying your other apps Tots and Linea Sketch and will continue to support your work.
@jadejitsu Thanks for all your support from all of us. 🖖
@gedeonm yes, i used twitterrific for many years. thanks for all your work.
@SerenaMoana It was our pleasure. Thank you!
@gedeonm Thanks for everything.
@gedeonm I've been using Twitterrific ever since it's first release I think, along with Tweetbot. As my wife and I met on Twitter, I'm pretty sure the first messages we exchanged were through your app. Thank you for your work 🙏☺️.
@glaurent You’re gonna make me start crying again!! Oh thanks for sharing this and thanks for your kind words. 🥰🖖
@gedeonm you’re welcome, it’s the least I can do 🖖.

@gedeonm @chockenberry Twitterrific on the Mac was a delight. I remember the first time I saw it.

I was visiting Philadelphia for a tech conference and noticed a web design studio was sharing links in a way I had never seen. All of them had this cool app on the top right corner of their screen. Turns out they were using Twitterrific just between them all to pop links to each other. Like a Slack or something.

I drove home and immediately bought the app.

@cdevroe @chockenberry Thank you for sharing this memory and for your support, from all of us.
@gedeonm thanks for the email response and I did chip in via PayPal-so appreciate you all!
@sufficiency Least I could do, Rosemary. You were more than generous, thanks again.
