@OhNoSheTwitnt
I've never understood this.
I do believe you, mind you... but I don't understand.

Appreciate the explanation as I wasn't tracking myself. I have a lot more respect and interest in individuals (both male and female) who dress functionally - in other words, KEEP THE POCKETS. They are extremely useful. :)

You're just looking to start a fight over nothing. BLOCKED!
@Tattie @bmalsuj @OhNoSheTwitnt Men's off-the-rack jackets often have the side pockets lightly sewn closed, so there's a real pocket if you want it or you can skip it to keep the line of the outfit smoother and put your phone in the inside chest pocket.
But totally fake pants pockets? That's not only patriarchy, but patriarchy saying "Nyahh nyaah, the men get pockets and you don't!"
(I'm also annoyed that cellphone makers want to sell us phones that are too big even for men's pants pockets.)
@billstewart415 @Tattie @OhNoSheTwitnt
I think you underestimate the size of men's pockets.
Speaking as a man who wears men's clothing... I've not seen the phone I can't fit in my average pant pockets.
I can fit the small iPad (an old iPad Air I think is the one the kids play with?) in at least one pocket in some of my pants and shorts.

There's only one thing girls want. It starts with a P and ends in an S.
They should be outlawed. I want pockets in everything!
What about fake pockets in men's blazers and suit-jackets?
