I live in the UK but I'm a citizen of the world increasingly appalled by the direction of the Tory government and Labour opposition.
Feeling slightly more confident here on Mastodon so here goes: I'm a mother, grandmother, wife. I've worked in China but now I'm back in the UK. I live in a mobile home and grow vegetables, keep koi, cook, knit and sew.

Created another three bags yesterdays from (partial) scraps: one for myself, one for my young niece, and one just for fun.

I enjoy making these, because my frozen shoulder does not yet allow me to sit behind the sewing machine for longer periods.

Trump has gone from an open Strait of Hormuz to a strait with tolls, an Iran with no weapons grade uranium to nuclear enrichment, US bases in the Middle East to pulling out all combat troops, and that's before we start adding up the cost of lost aircraft. How many personnel died or were maimed we may never know. But the "rescue" mission certainly wasn't the success claimed. He went from threatening to wipe out Iran to losing US hegemony overnight.
