Andy Ngo and Elon Musk apparently confirming that Musk personally suspended my Twitter account at Ngo's request, following Ngo's multiple failed attempts to silence my reporting on Ngo's ties to violent right-wing terrorist groups.

I call on Musk to release all his communications with Andy Ngo. Let's bring some transparency to Twitter. https://twitter.com/MrAndyNgo/status/1611118439812456448

“@elonmusk The left are angry that the rules are being applied to their side now that enforcement is more equal. That’s what this is all about. “When you’re accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression.””

Elon Musk is getting mixed up in his own lies. My Twitter account was not suspended because of any supposedly offending tweets or for "inciting violence".

I was suspended for "Ban Evasion", which I've ever engaged in. I have the screenshot to prove it.

Andy Ngo has been trying desperately to silence my reporting on his record of lies and thuggish legal threats against his critics.

In Sept 2021, Andy Ngo's lawyers threatened me with legal action for exposing his lies. @Popehat replied to their frivolous and baseless legal threats on my behalf in the now famous "oily poutine" letter. https://www.techdirt.com/2021/10/01/ken-popehat-white-again-shows-how-to-respond-to-completely-thuggish-legal-threat-letter/

After Ngo's thuggish legal threats against me left him totally embarrassed, Ngo filed a false DMCA report against my account.

Ngo abused Twitter's copyright reporting system in another desperate attempt to silence me. If there had been a federal anti-SLAPP law in effect, Ngo would have been destroyed in court for this stunt.

After the @eff responded on my behalf to Andy Ngo's false DMCA report against me, Twitter agreed with us and reversed their decision to suspend my account. https://www.dailydot.com/debug/andy-ngo-falanga-picture-dmca-twitter

Andy Ngô keeps reporting people on Twitter who post this very real photo of him standing by far-right graffiti

Andy Ngô filed multiple DMCA claims against Twitter users who posted an image of him posing in front of a far-right group's name.

@chadloder @eff can you sue Twitter for this?
@ScarletRed @eff No. Twitter is a private company, they can ban whoever they'd like.
Journalist Alex Berenson is reinstated to Twitter after suing for 'violation of the First Amendment'

Alex Berenson has been reinstated to twitter following an almost 11-month ban. Berenson, 49, filed a federal lawsuit challenging his ban for 'violatin...

@ScarletRed @chadloder @eff unrelated to 1A, there's no right to post, that rag of a paper is just pushing right wing talking points
@chadloder @ScarletRed @eff It just "coincidentally" ends up being only people who offend Elon's little pissbaby ego lately who get banned. Pure coincidence, of course.
@chadloder @ScarletRed @eff Not entirely accurate. If Elon decided to ban all Black people, this would violate federal Civil Rights laws.
@ScarletRed @chadloder @eff unless they make a false (defaming) statement about Chad's actions there's no real legal standing to sue. Twitter can ban for whatever reason they like (and that's due to 1A).
@chadloder @eff *Billy Mays voice* But wait, there's MORE!!!

@chadloder @eff

Did Ngo create the milkshake or popularize them I forget which.

@chadloder @eff nobody punches themselves in the face harder to gin up interest for a scam gofundme.
@chadloder @eff Thank you @eff for standing up for what's right!!!!
@chadloder @eff oh big deal, Chad. A Russian gangster did that to me in 2020 and you never cared.
@chadloder @eff why not sue in California
@guacamayan @eff Because DMCA is a federal copyright law, one cannot bring an anti-SLAPP action in state court in response. It's a big problem, you can find some background here. https://www.casp.net/in-the-news/dmca-take-down-notices-and-the-need-for-federal-anti-slapp-legislation/
