At this very moment, thousands of people are having this very experience.

Never forgetting is so important.

On the other hand: If remembering doesn't prevent new concentration camps, what good does it do?
What can we do today to stop China from doing Auschwitz to Uighurs and people from Kazakhstan?
How can we learn to have better ethics than money?

@auschwitzmuseum, 'may Philomena Franz memory be a blessing'.
@auschwitzmuseum Rest in peace Philomena 🕯
@auschwitzmuseum Möge die Erinnerung an Sie ein Segen und ihr die Erde leicht sein.
@auschwitzmuseum I haven’t heard much about people escaping from Auschwitz and other Nazi concentration camps. Do you know if there are reliable statistics?

@auschwitzmuseum Our neighbors growing up were the Lafers (sp?). Mr. Lafer was of Romano descent (hope that is correct name). He was the SOLE SURVIVOR of his extended family from the Nazi purge and concentration camps. The sole survivor.

Here is some background on Philomena.
