I took a glance at the article and didn't see how many females and how many males were in the study/poll.
I've learned to ignore study/polls and look at the science. Brain/Mind analyses would be the proof.

@JPeterE Simon Baron-Cohen’s Eyes Test isn’t a poll. It’s been shown repeatedly to have good reliability and validity in hundreds of studies. This particular meta-analysis was led out of Cambridge and published in PNAS so, while credibility is not entirely determined by authority, it’s a reasonably good filter. There’s also no such thing as proof in science

It's like using statistics of an engine to guess how long your engine will last with the amount or upkeep you do. The science is taking it apart and analysing the ware and other factors for the period or use. Then they can determine with much more accuracy. I hope this helps you to understand the truth.
