@feditips Anyone feeling lonely, remember, life isn’t static. Change is constant and we all go through many stages. I’m in middle life stage and feel like I have lived 10 lifetimes. So far away from the life at the time I thought was the one I was supposed to live. People I thought were forever friends, or my everything, I never even think about anymore. Don’t know how I ended up where I am. Things just kinda happen despite ourselves. Perhaps go listen to “Changes” by David Bowie :)

I gave up on calligraphy. As a lefty, I taught myself to write in mirror writing while in elementary school (thank you Lewis Carroll and Leonardo da Vinci). For hand drawn architectural plans I work from the right side of the sheet toward the left. In painting it does not matter, but I set up my palette opposite the way most righties do. Righties are verklempt with my mouse 🖱

@eirliani @feditips Gorgeous! I commonly write in cursive when doing anything handwritten, but the art of calligraphy has always eluded me. I should look into making a more concentrated effort in 2023.

I made Cheesy Beer Bread last night! 🧀🍞🍅🌿
3 C self-rising flour
3 Tbsp sugar
Optional: handful of sharp shredded cheese and savory herbs, to taste
12 oz room temp beer (not porter or stout)
Mix together and spread into a well-greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

To make your own self-rising flour, combine:
1 Cup all-purpose flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
(So triple these measurements if using in the beer bread recipe.)
