If you start typing any # related to a subject, it'll pre-pop suggestions.

If you make up a new hashtag that becomes used by many or just you; cool.

Include as many relevant #hashtags in a toot as there's space for.

@greengordon @parkermolloy we totally get that. It's frustrating because there is a lot of really good & important reporting done by NYtimes. Unfortunately they diminish their reputation with bothsidesism and access journalism.

Same here. I cancelled subscriptions to nyt and wapo. I figure if they break a story it will make its way out. I do like some columnists at both but settle for someone (themselves often) quoting them on sm

Why shouldn't Trump tamper with more witnesses? It's not like he went to prison for tampering with any of those other witnesses. Law enforcement sent him a clear message that he could tamper with witnesses without any criminal consequences.

@tofugolem @parkermolloy yes, that's the exactly the issue with accountability. When there is none, it becomes permission.

Haberman seems to be catching the brunt of the pushback on access journalism, although it seems to me like Woodword is at least as culpable when it comes to some of those criticisms.
I think we're just seeing a dearth of coverage on great investigative journalism, because so much of the big news media is driven by turning politics into a combination of Real Housewives and WWE. Access and opinion draw clicks, but are often used more for shaping than informing.
