Cassidy Hutchinson’s Testimony is Shocking and Spells More Big Trouble for Trumpworld

It's time to study up on another legal term: suborning perjury. Once again, events are swirling around the star witness for the January 6 Committee, and possibly soon federal prosecutors, Cassidy Hutchinson. A quick refresher: Hutchinson was a top aide to former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, a pivotal player in the events of January 6. This past summer, Hutchinson provided riveting testimony about what was going on, and who was saying what, behind the scenes at the White House during the days leading up to and including the attack upon the Capitol. The Committee hinted last week that in addition to the charges it was referring to the Justice Department around the main actors, including Donald Trump, it possessed troubling evidence about improper efforts to influence the testimony of key witnesses. It is now clear that this referred to and included Hutchinson.

@jaykuo I HOPE THIS REPORT LIGHTS A FIRE UNDER THE DOJ. GARLAND HAS TO STOP THINKING ABOUT WHETHER THIS WILL BE SEEN AS PARTISAN, BECAUSE IF HE DOES NOT PROSECUTE ‘ALL’ THE ENEMIES OF THE STATE, HE WILL BE THE SOLE PERSON WHO DESTROYED DEMOCRACY.

@jaykuo You can't help but wonder if Hutchinson would've stuck with the "I don't recall" line if she hadn't had to worry the security guy would testify he told her about the lunge. Memories are so much better when there's other evidence available!

Society is a mess, very divided, with a few at the top who make sure a loud-mouth stays in power. Not because they like him but because he allows them to keep, and grow, their power and wealth. And so many without money or power fall for loud-mouths because they feel he will carry their voices and make them heard. It seems everyone thinks their voices are important, even crucial. It's a sick world.

@jaykuo It appears now that there may be a first-hand witness to "the beast" incident, someone who spoke to Cassidy Hutchinson about it. Exhibit 55 redacts an entire conversation, including the name of the individual who Hutchinson spoke to about it.

@jaykuo I was struck by the dilemma Hutchinson claimed over loyalty to Trump and or whether or not she should be complete in her testimony. That morals, ethics, honesty, integrity were somehow just items on the priority list.
