I’m looking forward to the J6 hearing today and to the criminal referrals but I’m very concerned that they are not getting to the full truth.
So far, the hearings have been 100% focused on Donald Trump, but it’s very important to understand that he was a follower of a plan created by Mike Flynn and his allies.

CBS News has obtained unreleased audio of the House January 6 select committee's questioning of Ret. Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, in which Rep. Liz Cheney presses him on whether he used his connections to contact high-ranking defense officials ahead of the Capitol riot. Robert Costa reports from Washington.

It’s nice that the January 6th Committee acknowledges that “left-wing groups were instructing members to stay home” on January 5th.
But that might have something to do with the movement my friends and I started a week before that to make sure no one went. It was in public. You didn’t need “intelligence,” you needed Twitter.

Denver Riggleman is dropping knowledge as usual. He was bounced from the J6 Committee because he understands #OSINT and wanted to expand the focus beyond Flabby Hitler.

The level of ignorance or intentional deception here is jaw-dropping. The entire civilian leadership of the Pentagon was decapitated and replaced with Mike Flynn operatives AFTER the election. Miller, Cohen, Patel and Tata were there to make sure Trump stayed president.
Not only that, Mike Flynn’s brother Charles literally prevented the NG from going to the Capitol for THREE HOURS. JFC.

My partner @Gal_suburban and I described in detail how it worked at the Pentagon over six months ago. It’s not a mystery.
The reason the Secretary of Defense had “the authority to deploy the National Guard” was not because it was “delegated.” Miller sent this memo seizing that power and defanging the NG two days before 1/6.
It was a fucking coup that was assisted by the Pentagon.
The J6 Committee is a cover up.

Not only did Acting SecDef Chris Miller sign the memo making sure the National Guard would not protect the Capitol, he made sure the incoming Biden administration would have no information whatsoever.
He instructed the Defense Department to cease all transition communication *simultaneous* to the December 19th “Wild Protest” tweet. Chris Miller is a fucking liar who was in on everything.
The J6 Committee is covering for the military.

It’s public information. The only conceivable reason you would ask is if you think the “documents” are fake or that I am a dishonest actor in some way.

It was issued on November 25th, at which point I'd bet the insurrection groundwork was already underway, and it is *appallingly* broad. To really get clear of it, they'd either need to find something unrelated (like a Mar-a-Lago classified documents thing) or have judges onside (Clarence Thomas won't allow that).
@jimstewartson Two caveats, though:
1) the pardon doesn't cover *Charles*, and
2) the House can absolutely refer criminal behavior regardless of pardon, and there are principled arguments that they should in fact do so.
But still... that fucking pardon.
@jimstewartson Riggleman wants the same outcomes that many of us want... not just the facade (trump) but all of those pieces that served it, who coordinated with the Cap Police to leave them understaffed, why didn't the Pentagon respond more quickly? who coordinated intel with the Jan 6 assaulters? who paid for this?
