Good morning and Happy Sunday to everyone here in Mastodon! My name is Majid Padellan, but most folks know me as Brooklyn Dad Defiant from the bird site.

This is my #introduction: I like democracy, voting rights, equal rights, education, the environment. Also like old (and new) TV shows, love movies, comedy, big comic book nerd, pizza and Buffalo wings will be my last meal.

Also like not being swarmed by thousands of nasty trump bots, so this space feels nice. Thanks for the warm welcome!

And I'm glad to see you here, BDD. I followed you on the bird site and I'm slowly "getting the band back together" here. Welcome aboard. I actually like it better here, it is more interesting and has a healthy variety of people and topics. Read some tips from the original members so we don't end up colonizing the place that already has an established society. Like Cover Wraps aren't just for nudity, it's considered polite, preface political posts use USPOL so folks have a choice.

@HistoPol The one you're conversing with right now is the real deal. I'll have to check out the counter one, because I tried to join a month or so ago, and I gave up...perhaps that one was my failed attempt. Dammit. I'll let you know. If that counter one has been posting, then it definitely AIN'T me, because I just figured out how to do this in the past 2 days.
