@rabbigabriel @sashaperigo @tchambers I was thinking in terms of the organization of a corporation and in how the power rests with a small group of people, but, yes, not all corporations (most, in fact) don't have the level of power necessary to influence politics and governments. Twitter does.

@sashaperigo over a decade ago, Nick Hanauer stood on the TED stage and told the well-heeled audience that the pitchforks & torches were coming. Last year Douglas Rushkoff told us all that the Uber-rich have already written off the rest of the society, only caring about those who serve them and their interests, voluntarily or through extreme duress. Seems like a lot of work to keep ignoring the obvious. Inequality does not scale well.
