@bluehawk @mastodonusercount I was just saying to my wife the reason why this is newsworthy and so fascinating: We're watching someone burn through an incredible amount of money, fuelled (apparently) by narcissism and hubris. He's perfectly entitled to do so of course, but it's the scale of it that makes it... well, obscene.

Some wealthy people like to set fire to paper money, to prove their "indifference". Elon has taken this to the ultimate level.
