Auschwitz Memorial

13 December 1879 | A Jewish man, Samuel Jacob Pintzow, was born in Seda (today Lithuania). In 1900 he moved to Norway.

On 25 February 1943 he was deported to Auschwitz. On 3 March 1943 he was murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.

@auschwitzmuseum One of the many things following this account had taught me is how it wasn’t just Jews living in Germany, but from across Europe. This is part of why we have to fight for trans rights across America, not just in our own state.

I need this dose of daily "anger", so that I won't descend into a numb comfort zone where history fades away into ignorance. Everyone should have this feed, some more than others.
