All right #Mastodon, show this #twitterexodus refugee what you can do.

Walked away from 6700 followers because I won't provide content (not directly, at least) or be in the same space as a destructive & dangerous narcissist. This new (for me) place is cool but I do miss being able to post a special #nature #photograph & know it will get seen thousands of times.

I guess that's my #introduction. I rant about #covid #CovidIsNotOver & #LongCovid & I live in a beautiful place. With a foot of snow.

@edsuom See https://debirdify.pruvisto.org/ for easy method to import Follows and Followers from Twitter (those who have their Mastodon ID/ address in their profiles).
Debirdify

This is a web app that helps you find out which of the people you follow on Twitter are on Mastodon/in the Fediverse already and follow all of them easily.

@jftypesvrx @edsuom People should likely use these tools on a regular basis to catch people who eventually update their Bird profile to include their Mastodon account. And DON'T FORGET to export the accounts you've blocked and muted on the Bird and do the same with them here. THANKS for the info about this tool!
@adirtyhippie @jftypesvrx @edsuom How do you export blocked accounts?
@rcp_1964 @jftypesvrx @edsuom Debirdify (https://debirdify.pruvisto.org/) has an option to export both your block list as well as a list of accounts you've muted. Export each, then MERGE import them into the appropriate place in Mastodon's settings.
