Q:

When the club soccer coach tells your teen to “hit the gym” what is he supposed to do? He def wants to bulk up!

I welcome suggestions that take into account:

- His high school lacks a gym
- Our family doesn’t belong to one and he’s barely 16- too young to become a member on his own
- We live in a city row home w limited space

Buy equipment for his room? What?

@SaraGoldrickRab just gonna jump in and say (agree, mostly) that bodyweight & dumbbell/kettlebell exercises are the way to go; low cost investment for the gear and all you really need is space

resistance bands are a great option too!!
