Just pushed a version for Godot 4.0 to the Godot Asset Library -- should be available soon -- or you can get it from GitHub on the Godot4 branch https://github.com/jotson/ridiculous_coding

@jotson that would just feel like additional mockery when I write my buggy code
@jotson Dayum. Need this for Sublime to shock my dev guys at work. :D
@jotson The addon for when you need to ADD JUICE!!
@jotson I so want this for the JetBrains IDEs!
@dj @jotson same but for #vscode. Who wouldn't love a dopamine hit for EVERY character? πŸ˜‚
Power Mode - Visual Studio Marketplace

Extension for Visual Studio Code - Your code is powerful, unleash it! The extension made popular by Code in the Dark has finally made its way to VS Code.

@jotson the only change i could see is make the 'space' display less proheminent. I want to see each letter but space is to frequent and big so it block the view
@jotson
I have a mighty need for this in every ide :). Nicely done
@jotson can you make one for VSCode? I’m crying laughing this is so funnyπŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ the way the window shakes. This make me feel like I’m really really writing the code.
@jotson going to make this mandatory for all my engineers
@jotson I need this as an addon for OneNote.
@jotson holy sh*t that is so fun
@jotson makes me want to write a Texteditor that does "NICE!" or "PERFECT!" at the end of a line, like dance dance revolution.
@jotson There’s a few plugins like this that a client of mine uses and when I watch some of their SWEs work in pairing sessions it’s like this plus cats jumping around and fireworks going off, and I’m so confused how they can think straight, it’s amazing.
@jotson Yes! I was wondering when someone was going to add this to the Godot editor!
@jotson someone should turn this into a userscript for writing posts on mastodon web
@jotson ... can.. can i have this .. for vi?
@jotson this is my new favorite thing!πŸ˜‚β€‹
@jotson I might actually start coding again with this πŸ˜‚

@jotson Someone has watched waaay too much "JoJo's Bizarre Adventures". #Jostar #JoJo #jojo_anime

Wait, are you a Jo? O.o

@jotson I cannot stop thinking about using an alias to see a classic     for every return key pressed.
@jotson I kind of update for Godot 4, the PR is there :)
@jotson πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ³πŸ€ŒπŸ»
@jotson this is awful and I LOVE IT! 🀣
@jotson This is absolutely amazing! 🀩 Powercoding! πŸ’ͺ
@jotson That is awesome! If only #VisualStudio could be that cool.
@jotson @hacks4pancakes This should be in every scene of movie hacking from now on.

@jotson I don't know why, but this is the funniest fucking thing I've seen all night XD
@jotson @saintajax33 YAS! I had something like this for Atom back in the day, they called it POWER MODE X3 I daily drive VS Code these days though πŸ˜”
@jotson This is awesome and awful at the same time! I love it!
@jotson
Now that's funny.
Taa.
@jotson This is gobsmackingly brilliant.
@jotson what. in. and i say this with every inch of respect that you are owed for making something so cool - the FUCK
@jotson This is so cool I wish I had it for google drive docs and word... Omg my docs would be so pleasant to write!

@jotson

I always wanted something that tells me that I've pushed the correct button. Now the time for waiting has passed and this amazing tool appeared. Thanks! ;-)

@jotson I never liked coding BEFORE!
@jotson
Is it wrong of me that I want this in Vim?
@jotson I need this to also highlight syntax errors.
@themitch22 hm fun idea.. I wonder if it's possible with godot4... They've added some neat APIs
@jotson I've looking into Godot for a puzzle game I wanted to make but don't have much coding experience, I guess it's worth it over Unity for this kind of thing?

@themitch22 I'd try them both and see what works for you. Depending on the type of puzzle game there may be other choices that work better for you too. https://www.puzzlescript.net/ for example

There are a ton of free engines out there -- try them out and see what clicks

PuzzleScript - an open-source HTML5 puzzle game engine

@jotson this reminds me of a Visual Studio extension I used to use called power mode. It also kept track of your character count and gave you a score. It was too distracting for work but fun and I'd love to use it for coding my hobby projects in Godot.
