The Apple II family is the system on which I cut my computing teeth. An entire generation of kids were inspired to “do stuff” with computers because of the Apple II—including yours truly.

can I just say? it's some bullshit when USGS downgrades an earthquake a bunch in the hours after it happens.

that's just straight up gaslighting. "oh, you woke up scared in the middle of the night but felt reassured by the significant number we assigned to it? psych, you coward, it was actually way less."

way to invalidate my experience of the earthquake, USGS.
