Donโ€™t forget to push to production on your way out. Ops should have almost a week to get things fixed.
@ilsa @jerry lldb attach to prod processes or go home
@jerry @ilsa Totally the path that space Karen will take when we start to see 500s

@llbbl @jerry RIP my notifications LOL

This Sunday will be interesting though. I have a bet with myself that the #worldcup traffic will bring Twitter down hard.

@ilsa @jerry Kids these days thinking debugging on prod is "risky" lel.
@apicultor @ilsa @jerry it is risky โ€” the risk being that Risk and Compliance might slide in your DMs afterwards
@ilsa @jerry and always on Fridays ๐Ÿ˜œโ€‹
@ilsa
#whoLetTheDadsOut
Do you delouse, instead?
@ipd Depends on how much they pay me. That's a lot of work!
@jerry way ahead of you. #Friday

@seanwbruno @jerry
Pushed breaking changes to dev 30 minutes before I walked out on my last day on the job.

On the upside, if the change was patching a data deletion bug, so if it worked, cool; if it didn't work, still no deleted data.

@jerry
4:55pm (pushed to prod)
"Have a great holiday everyone, see you after the break!"
@jerry isn't that why there is a peer review process? That way you can both have a chuckle on the way out for the weekend?

@jerry ops? Oh you mean Matt, the only one left on the ops team? He was either working on the incident backlog or sending out resumes, guess we wonโ€™t know which one until next week ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

๐Ÿ˜‚

@jerry for bonus points schedule the push for 01:00.
@jerry ... hi friend. It's been a few years.
Missed your llama-face ๐Ÿ˜…
@LitMoose @jerry Happy to see you made it over, Heather ๐Ÿงกโ˜ฎ๏ธ
@chrisculling @jerry technically I've been here (in spirit and account) since 2018 ๐Ÿ˜…
@LitMoose @jerry itโ€™s been 2 weeks for me but itโ€™s a refreshing change
tbh
@jerry reminds me of a peer quadruple checking that management wanted them to run a command that took down production.
