@jerry I find myself going there mostly to try to drag the people I'd still miss over here. Don't find the site appealing anymore, but like previous social media transitions, it feels like I'm going to lose a lot of people in the process.

Great! I deleted my twitter account almost two weeks ago...haven't looked back. It was so very toxic. I hear it has gotten even worse.

Mastodon is much nicer.

@useridundefined @jerry it isn't going to help when the site crashes or suffers a major breach in the next few days. Too many critical employees left and, contrary to one billionaire's musings, the site will not just run itself.

@jerry Yeah, I've deleted the app from my phone which helps a lot. But occasionally I stray to the website via my desktop during lunchtime. It helps a lot that everyone I run into on #Mastodon seems to be very awesome and interesting!
