Chris HartjesAs Twitter continues to churn and convulse, I realized that the side effect of having spent so long curating my list of who I follow is that I got used to it providing me with interesting content targeted at me. Over here I have to start that process again. It took YEARS and nobody from my Magic The Gathering hobby is in the fediverse :(

This is intentional, for privacy and safety reasons overall.
@david @akrabat @grmpyprogrammer Just went through all the folks I'm following and organized into lists: DevRel, Open Source, PHP, WordPress, and Tech News. Let's see if that helps me stay focused.

There are tools to check your twitter follow list for accounts that are already on here, like https://twitodon.com/. You could regularly check that for new people on here perhaps?

pieceofthepie@grmpyprogrammer Discovery on Mastodon is primarily driven my hashtags and sadly these are missed a lot of the time. I'm sure #MagicTheGathering (#mtg) stuff will appear organically enough but it might take time.
