Heads up to anyone who uses Zoom: If you don't go into Settings and untick all these options, ZOOM WILL OFFER TO TAKE NOTES FROM YOUR TEAMS CALLS (and all the other listed apps).

It does that by diverting audio input and output from your sound system and running an LLM over it. Then it stores the results in the My Notes section of the Zoom app, which is the first place I would look FOR NOTES FROM A TEAMS CALL.

As the capslock may indicate I am utterly incensed by any app offering to add AI functionality to other completely separate apps, especially the one that is the most obvious and direct competitor to Zoom, without asking me to enable that behaviour.
