I am a freelance environment generalist/ solo gamedev working on a game called "Hellscreen" And it's basically Doom with a rearview mirror where weird shit happens and you can shoot behind you.

I post a lot about the dev process, including level design tips for Blender and general musings about making indie games.

I sometimes post micro tutorials too!

Is blender the defacto 3d package now, supplanting Maya, Max and Modo?

@elspivo a lot of folks debate this. Probably not industrial standard but likely the most used in small indie games. It's my personal favourite
