Heiko Specht@tchambers I found a way to import a list of users to follow. It required to be a csv file - maybe something that could work with your list as well.

@thomaswanhoff @tchambers in preferences you have the option i.e. to export your follower list or your lists as csv - that shows you how the csv must look like - you also can import csvβs there and merge with existing ones

Alper Kanat@tchambers Cool, thanks for sharing this. I wonder whether these journalists have any concerns about their impact on Mastodon..? Most Turkish reporters/journalists I know of are usually worried that their voice wouldn't be heard on any non-main-stream social media.

It would be a massive help...since most of these #journos didn't/haven't put their mastodon addresses in their #twitter profiles. The "maintainer" of the list - @tchambers - said they'd be up for #integration!

@Luca @tchambers I think journos added this information to the database themselves. You can ask @tchambers ... but I think that's how it worked.

@tchambers This would be good data for a behavioral data science study of the spread of information. I can imagine a cool animated tree graph grouping the journos by org and connecting the lines by timestamp.
