This is just to check in how much interest there is in the following:

Would you like to see Tails to run on mobile phones such as the #PinePhone?
(boost also counts as a yes)

What's Tails?
Tails a portable operating system that protects your privacy and helps you avoid censorship.

Tails - Home

@tails
Yes, makes a lot of sense.
@tails I don't own a pinephone yet, but on my android phone I route almost everything through Tor anyway (because I don't trust the mobile network with my data), so Tails seems a logical option to have on a Linux phone where Tor would be a first-class citizen. Although a mobile OS isn't probably as much amnesic / temporary as a removable-media-booted desktop one, if the device is always on.
@tails Yes, please. Using tails is so much better than just installing tor-browser from the package-manager, because of all the tweaks around it. Having it on a phone would be awesome.

@tails

That would be really nice!

@tails Yes and there's a project to add mobile phones support in #debian https://mobian-project.org/ and https://salsa.debian.org/DebianOnMobile-team
Mobian

Mobian, Debian for mobile devices

@tails
Definitely something I would be interested in, especially since I always have a small Tails USB on me
@tails
A Tails for a SBC like Lime2 would be a interesting project.
@tails Need TAILS on ARM in general
@tails yeah of course.
Would it be like an usb stick for booting into Tails, is it even possible with Android devices ? Is it possible to do with unrooted phones ?
@tails I have a Pinephone Braveheart edition I'm happy to test on. How would anonymity on a cell phone work though? Wouldn't the user be deanonymized the moment their SIM card is used to authenticate with a cell tower?
@tails
If that works, it would probobly turn in to my daily driver.
