Heading to the airport for a vacation. (Yes, I sometimes take those)

I plan to spend it sitting in warm pools of water, and looking at fancy old buildings. Probably not at the same time, but we shall see.

Tight fit today. Big huge guy in the middle seat, and I'm not small either.

At least this is a short hop.

Staying in a capsule hotel on the first night. I quite enjoy these places. The sauna is included, and more to the point, mandatory.

This happens to be the first capsule hotel, opened in 1979.

Moin moin!

Charming my way down to a castle for the day. It's currently raining a bit, but that ought to add a bit of ambiance.

In the museum they had lots of old stuff, including a handwritten scroll from 767.

....only when I get back to the train station do I discover that it *does* have luggage lockers.

My legs wanted to know that 5km ago.

Some stations inside the complex to wash your hands
Some more bits and bobs. Roofs, I mean Roofs.

@phessler I saw statues of that in this temporary exhibit in Paris. They are really grand
@phessler is that original 15th century scaffolding?
@pamela sorry, the scaffolding is more modern.

@phessler next you'll tell me the orange barriers are modern, too

Beautiful pictures. I like the fish.

@phessler   it's beautiful
