Carlton@sarahwright How are your Ash Wednesday preparations going? First time I did an imposition of ashes, one of my parishioners with a heavily receded hairline caused me to be tempted to start sketching a scene with three crosses and a hill. I resisted. Turns out it was not futile to do so after all.
@Carlton hhhaahahahha! I just hope I don’t get it in anyone’s eyes this year haha. We’ve had a lot of death the last month so in a strange way we are more “ready” for Ash Wednesday than I’ve personally felt in the past. What about you?
@sarahwright Two really major active members here died in the last 3 months, and were my first 2 funerals in the community. There is definitely an awareness of death in the community. A good year for the ashes.
