How is photography changing?

Been thinking of selling some prints online. Just canceled my Fine Art America account after 4 days because I had technical issues from the start & they only have email, no chat or phone #. When "customer service" replied 4 days later they said "check in settings". And that was it. May as well have told me turn my computer on/off.

Looking at alternatives.

#Photographers, what is your experince w/ #Zenfolio and #Smugmug. Opinions, boosts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sigh. It's been *almost* 48 hours (admittedly still about 12 hours to go) since I had my blog host and domain registrar #Bluehost set a CNAME record for folio.getmikestevens.com to point to my #zenfolio photography page and it's still not working. I know it CAN take around 48 hours but I can't remember the last time I had to wait anywhere near that long.

Weird things about #zenfolio – So much of the website builder is rigidly limited, it's frustrating as hell. I can't even save or copy an edited block (say, an Instagram block) to use on other pages – so if I want my Instagram details and images to appear at the bottom of a given page, I have to build it from scratch each time.

Feels a bit archaic. I mean, the overall service seems great and it has everything I need to start taking on clients, and my page design will be attractive – it's just not as customisable as I'd like. Should've looked at #Squarespace I guess. (#Wordpress is fine too, but a bit clunky.)
