131. Finnieston Crane

🧠 The disused crane is such an imposing feature of the skyline in that area.

⭐ I like the composition - how you can see a bit of the Hyro peeking out and Exhibition Centre train station that's used by many people going there for gigs.

➡️I'm not entirely happy with the colouring and light settings but I was in a rush to get this one up so I'm going with 'good enough'.

🧠 This is the first J has let me use a picture of him! It's by the canal at Maryhill.

⭐ I like how happy he looks and how the slide contrasts with the greenery.

🧠 Not very sharp but this is cropped from a much bigger picture. I just happened to see the guy climbing up and grabbed the camera - no time to switch to a zoom lens! He added the black and white umbrella before jumping down.

⭐I like the action that I've caught.

➡️ Image quality is not great because of the big crop.

🧠 There are so many cranes around Glasgow just now! I thought this one looked good with the building and framework in front.

⭐I love the colour of the windows and how there's some colours in common across the different elements.

🧠 I always think the chimney tower at Gartnavel Hospital (view from our back windows) would make a good picture with the right sky. I got that last night!

⭐For a change I'm very please with the sky!

➡️I think I could make the chimney more of a feature but not sure how.
