What is #Zaidi smoking? 🤔

"Zaidi spoke to the media after the Giants mostly stood pat at the deadline and said he felt the team has “the best rotation in baseball” and has the makings of a playoff team, despite currently being two games under .500 at 53-55 and four games out of a playoff spot."

WFT???🤦‍♂️

If you look at the Giants' transaction history, you can see that Zaidi has been moving pitchers around so quick that it'll make your head spin, especially if you're one of those pitchers.

His greatest move was to trade Slater to the Reds to get Young back, who he then immediately placed on waivers & who was then claimed by the Mets. So, we got NOTHING for Slater. WTF?? 🤦‍♂️

Zaidi's had more than enough time to develop the Giants into a competitive baseball team but has obviously failed in that effort .💩

So, I think it's time to trade Zaidi!!! 👍

Who do you have to talk to to make that happen? 🤔

Larry are you listening??? 🍿

Tech giant #Google is blocking links to California news outlets from search results

Google has temporarily 💥blocked links from local news outlets in California💥 from appearing in search results
in response to the advancement of a 🌟bill that would require tech companies to pay publications for links that articles share. 🌟
The change applies only to some people using Google in California, though it is not clear how many.

The 🔸California Journalism Preservation Act 🔸(CJPA) would require large online platforms to pay a “journalism usage fee”
for linking to news sites based in the Golden state.
The bill cleared the California assembly in 2023.
To become law, it would need to pass in the Senate before being signed by the governor, Gavin Newsom.

In a blog post published Friday, #Jaffer #Zaidi, Google’s 🔹head of global news partnerships,🔹 explained that the company is experimenting with removing local news links for a “small percentage” of California users in preparation for the bill potentially passing.

#Houthis
"They have been unable to deliver economic growth to the poorest country in the Middle East and North Africa. The Houthis are also brutally repressive, torturing and executing journalists, arresting and detaining peaceful protesters, and restricting the rights of women and girls. Many Yemenis increasingly see the Houthis as driven by a desire to establish a totalitarian religious state that protects Zaidi elites’ power."
