Took the opportunity of some sun this morning to drive up to the recently reopened Biamanga Cultural Area, home of a sacred men's space for the Yuin people. After European settlement, and even until quite recently, the sacred pools along this creek were used as swimming holes by locals. Subsequent to the post-2019 fires there has been extensive rehabilitation and repair of the visitors area including excellent parking, BBQ, and picnic facilities, and significant signage telling the story of the area from the Yuin perspective. While not outright banned, there is a definite strong discouragement of using the pools for recreation.
NPWS notes access along the dirt road as 2WD accessible, and while it technically is, the graded road is long, has some corrugation and minor washes, and wouldn't be terribly enjoyable in a front-wheel drive vehicle.
