I was made aware of the libinput debug-gui which looks perfectly fine even while I am in the error state.

During my experiments I found out I can make xournalpp crash by rolling the stylus on the drawing tablet. Thus I have acquired a core dump that I don’t even know where to post. Does it belong with the #xournalpp people or the #plasma people or the #wayland people or ???

Prima ho compilato il modulo per le detrazioni (pdf) per lavoratori dipendenti e ho prima provato a farlo con Draw ma era tutto spaginato, per cui ho provato con Xournal++ con il quale sono riuscito senza problemi.

Nutzt oder kennt jemand schon https://github.com/kacpertopol/xournaltomp4 ?
Hier wird alles, was man mit Stift in Xournalpp schreibt in einem Video animiert.
Sieht sehr interessant aus und kann man evtl. für den Unterricht brauchen.

Danke für den Link. Übrigens lässt sich die Funktion von Stifttaste 2 in Xournal++ konfigurieren (Stift Tab in den Einstellungen). Neue Seiten lassen sich auch automatisch einfügen, wenn es so konfiguriert ist (Zeichenbereich Tab in den Einstellungen).

@happyborg We did it with a simple #xournal / #xournalpp drawing as we have devices with pen-support. As a drawback, you need to construct everything first and everything isn't exact, but it just works. Otherwise #scribus or #libreoffice Draw might work.

Sehe gerade: #Xournalpp hat eine neue Version am Start mit einigen interessanten Neuerungen: So gibt es jetzt u.a. einen Laserpointer, die Objekte richten sich am gewählten Hintergrund aus (z.B. an den Karos) und die Links der PDFs bleiben beim Exportieren erhalten.
Find ich auf dem ersten Blick (und den zweiten) super!

Any recommendations for handwriting recognition software for #linux?

I was surprised that #xournalpp doesn't have one natively. There's the HTR plugin https://lellep.xyz/xournalpp_htr/ but runs after the fact.

@tomatic @herr_mess Danke, das finde ich toll! Ich bin wirklich glücklich darüber - habe zuerst (weil "halt" damals während Corona da gewesen) OneNote benutzt und würde #xournalpp nicht mehr eintauschen wollen.
Ebenen habe ich (als Lehrkraft) für Trennung von Lösungen und Aufgaben benutzt. War dann im Unterricht selbst etwas unhandlich, was aber nicht am Programm liegt; ich muss es halt konsequent machen. 🙂 Ich konnte auch schon SuS dafür begeistern.
