I tried opening my old #ship model in #Plasticity3D, as well as a Class A smooth surface model made without #xNurbs or other apps like #Rhino #3D or #Alias, this one was done with #SurfacePsycho, an app that still has a lot of room for improvement but delivers impressive quality. and with a really low number of CVs 😍 #b3d #Blender3D #Blender #CAD

Many went crazy for #Xnurbs/square command, but with #Plasticity3D sometimes using the standard commands results in better surfaces, however, XNurbs creates simpler surfaces, but sometimes the CVs are a bit messy. #Nurbs #CAD

I turned on the other PC to compare two different methods for closing a ball corner, despite the enthusiasm behind #XNurbs, #Plasticity3D creates the a patch with G2 continuity, XN with the extreme quality, probably generates a surface better, but I am satisfied.

Today a new version of #Plasticity3D beta has been released and has added support for #XNURBS, a popular add-on made for #Rhino and other #CAD programs, and has been integrated, but will only be available for #Windows and #Mac, #Linux users will not be able to benefit from this addition, very sad because I am one of those.
Oh well, maybe other features will be improved and maybe we could even do without that.
