Almost a year ago I announced my intention that my next role would be focused on the Healthcare space.
Today I’m happy to announce that I’m joining Innovaccer as VP, Head of Product Design & Research. Innovaccer is a healthcare technology company focused on tackling the problem of scattered data across the healthcare industry. Their platform uses artificial intelligence to help healthcare providers consolidate and interpret data, making it easier to improve patient care and streamline operations. Innovaccer enables hospitals and clinics to make informed decisions, manage resources more effectively, and enhance the overall healthcare experience for everyone.
My primary care doctor is amazing, she actively reviews years of past medical history, stays up-to-date with current best practice, and novel treatments and medicines, and thinks about me, her patient holistically, not just what the health issue is at the moment. Unfortunately not everyone has a doctor like mine, there are so many instances where AI should absolutely not be used… but augmenting human intelligence, working as teammates, assistants, and freeing up time to focus on expertise, insight, and human connection is absolutely an ideal application.
I’m excited to be joining the leadership at a company on the forefront of AI tools that will help increase quality of care for patients, diagnose more quickly and accurately, and work towards preventative rather than reactive healthcare
