Whoohoo I finally got to one of the things on the bottom of the to do list: repairing a dragon. This little guy was in poor shape when I bought him. Both horns were broken off and one wing joint was completely gone. I sculpted the missing parts directly onto the statue with KwikWood, then sanded and painted the new parts and chipped areas. It's not perfect but it looks pretty good! #windstone #windstoneeditions #dragon

Repairing a dragon! This little guy got his head crest scales chipped off (which made him really cheap to buy!) Last night I resulted them with wood putty. I was hoping to work more on this tonight but it'll have to be a day I'm feeling better. I'm hoping once I match the paint they'll blend right in (my sculpting isn't great but if it blends well enough that will be overlooked!). #windstoneeditions #windstone #dragon

Felt like sharing some of my collections. This was the first figure I purchased at the age of 12. It was the first time my fantasy loving, Dragonriders of Pern obsessed self encountered a beautiful dragon that I could take home. It had gold highlights when new, but I was amazed at this creation and could not resist handling it frequently. Spent weeks saving up the money to purchase and it will always be special to me.
