My highly possible GUESS at what just happened:

1 hits his opponent
The other guy shoots wildly, misses badly and hits a glass of water near TFG causing it to explode and TFG gets hit by a piece of glass. He gets grazed and receives 2 stitches and some ibuprofen.

From now on he’s gonna wear that Purple Heart medal, that some maga gave him as a present for whatever dumb reason. He’s going to wear it and tell everyone that he was a braver soldier today than any war hero ever.

This line of speculation doesn’t answer any questions — it just raises thousands more! Like “huh?” and “wha?” and “guh?” Or, more seriously: where would he have gotten it. Why wouldn’t he get that shit taken care of? Has James Carville’s folksy analogies finally eaten the reasoning center of his brain?

This theory seems unlikely is what I’m saying.

If by some miracle this wild fantasy turns out to be true, then well done to whomever it was that managed to infect the old orange bastard; and I’m sorry about the super herpes you no doubt contracted in the process.

But no; the smart money says that is that this is errant nonsense at best. And frankly, I wouldn’t wish a case of syphilis on Mr. Trump. After all — it’s hardly ever lethal these days.

I wonder how tightly fear of the dark is wound together with fear of being alone. Seems like darkness is a lot less threatening if you have someone next to you.

If you imagine that for twenty or thirty thousand years our ancestors probably had a communal fire and that natural selection would have strongly selected against children who wandered off in the dark, it makes sense that there might be some link.
